This small village-owned campground is a great place to stay for a family vacation. It is located right on a creek and is adjacent to over 60 miles of ATV trails. The sites have 30 amp service and water, and some have 50 amp service. There is a free dump station located a quarter of a mile away. The campground is clean and the bathrooms and showers are well maintained, although there is no hot water. The sites are level and grassy, and are right on the ATV trail. The campground is within walking distance to pubs, eateries, and a gas station with ice cream cones. The locals are friendly and helpful. There is a large celebration on Labor Day weekend, and a Fish Boil the last Saturday in April and the first Saturday in November. We would definitely stay here again!

Wolf Creek Campground is a great place for camping, ATV enthusiasts, and fisherman. The Wolf Creek, a trout stream, runs through the Wolf River campground and empties into the Pecatonica River. The campground offers 24 campsites with water and electricity, 10 campsites without electricity, a beautiful new bathroom/shower facility, fire pits with grills, walking bridge to local park, food and drink, water fill station, dump station, gas for ATVs, two playgrounds for children, picnic tables, and pets allowed on leash. The campground is first come, first served and fees range from $15 to $20 per night. Other area attractions include access to all trails, canoe landings for Pecatonia River, fishing, historic Shullsburg, Lafayette County Speedway, Yellowstone Lake State Park, 5 nearby golf courses, Mineral Point/Pendarvis, Galena, IL, House on the Rock/Spring Green, and Dubuque.
