Lake Chippewa Campground in Hayward, WI offers group sites with water access and full hook-ups, well-appointed lodges with small markets and snack bars, and a primitive/dry camping area. The multiple lakefront sites are rented out for a week at a time and have water and electric only. The campground also has a blackwater pump-out service and a dump station. Guests have access to a pontoon boat for rent at a reasonable price. The 50/30/20 AMP box and water spigot were not a problem for the reviewer, but the sewer connection was not threaded and took some maneuvering. While the monthly internet was not as fast as the 24-hour service, the latter was found to be satisfactory. The campground is run efficiently and has a state park-like atmosphere.

Lake Chippewa Campground is a lakeshore camping site located in Hayward, Wisconsin. The campground offers unobstructed views of the water and seasonal foliage colors. Guests can enjoy playing with their children at the water's edge, fishing, and catching their limit before breakfast. The campground has a new bathhouse with private shower and dressing stalls. It is set on an island in the heart of Wisconsin's Northwoods.
