What others are saying about this campground
Willow River State Park in Hudson, WI is an excellent family camping experience with three campgrounds. The 300 loop is recommended for its proximity to the lake and scenic wooded sites. The park is popular on weekends and can get busy but the crowds die down by Sunday night. The park is well maintained, clean, and the staff does an excellent job of keeping up with the bathrooms and showers. Ice, firewood, and fire starters are available at the main office. The waterfall is the parks main attraction, and the trails leading to it are well marked. The hike back up from the waterfall to the parking lot is steep and not suitable for everyone. The park also offers activities like walking trails, fishing access, and mountain bike trails. Theres a playground for kids, and its only a 20-minute drive from the Twin Cities.
