Top O the Morn Resort & Campground is a picturesque campground located about 2 miles southeast of Iron River, Wisconsin. The campground is easy to find thanks to its adequate signage and paved roads. The park is well-maintained and clean, with lots of pine trees that make you feel like youre camping in the forest. While there are a few permanent campsites with junk stored around them, the campgrounds overall are clean and well-kept. There are a few short-stay sites available, with most offering 30 amp and water-only services. Our pull-through site was flat and even, with a picnic table and fire pit. While the site was all dirt and might get muddy in the rain, the utilities worked well and the Wi-Fi signal was strong. Each site has enough space for an RV park, and the roads are big-rig-friendly. Distancing was okay for a rural park. We did not use the washrooms or showers but found them clean. There is a playground, wharf, and boat launch available for guests registered at the campground. Top O the Morn has a small store with a bar that serves beverages but closes at 5:00 p.m. The campground features a lake where you can swim, however. While there are no restaurants or stores within walking distance, you can find shops and eateries in Iron River just a short drive away. The campsite is very affordable, with good value for money, and we would stay there again if in the area.
