This campground is a great destination for nearby city-dwellers looking for an escape. The RV sites are in an open area and have water and power hookups, but no sewer. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms are stocked with soap, toilet paper, and hand towels. There is a playground, pool, and showers, but the bathrooms need more attention. The transient sites are in the open on gravel pads with water and electricity, and some sites are on grass. The biggest concern is the bathroom not being kept as clean as it could be, and the water pressure varies. The park is off the beaten path, but is good for an overnight stay. Cell phone and wireless card reception is marginal due to the out of the way location. On the weekends, kids can be noisy until 2 am. The owners are quick to address any issues, and during storms, they offered parts for any canopies that blew away and tied down others to prevent further damage.
