Fairgrounds Campground is a safe and quiet place to stay during the off season. During weekends, it can get a bit busier, but it is still a great place to stay for a night or two. It is a clean park with a variety of sites, and it is especially great for families with dogs as they can roam off leash. The full hook up section is a bit strange, as it is hard to back up big rigs, but it is not usually crowded. The price is a bit high, but the grounds are very nice and large. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the water pressure is great. It is a great place to stay for a night or two while passing through the area.

From The Campground

The Jefferson County Fair Park offers seasonal camping from April through October, depending on weather and water hook up. There are over 300 camping sites spread across 90 acres, with options for full hookup, electric and water, and non-electric sites. The park also offers a dump station and free Wi-Fi provided by Netwurx Hotspot. Reservations can be made by calling the office.
