From The Campground

Maple Heights Campground offers a unique experience in northern Wisconsin family camping. We border the Nicolet National Forest, and the picturesque McCaslin Brook trout stream meanders around the campground. Set up your tent, camper or RV under a canopy of huge maple, beech and hemlock trees. All of our campsites are wooded and most are easy pull-through sites for easy access with trailers or RV's. All sites offer electric hook-ups and many offer water hook-ups as well. Our area offers a multitude of opportunities to explore and enjoy nature. Visit the Lakewood State Fish Hatchery or enjoy a hike on one of our scenic trails. Take a swim at one of several public beaches in the National Forest or head up to Laona for a ride on a historic steam train to the logging museum. There are over 60 lakes within a 10 mile radius, and we are located between the two best whitewater rafting rivers in Wisconsin, the Peshtigo and the Wolf Rivers.
