Fireside Campground in Lone Rock, WI is a clean and friendly campground. It has a lot of shade and greenery which makes the grounds look pretty. While some of the sites may feel cramped, the shade makes up for it by providing relief from the sun. The campground has excellent dump station services and other amenities. However, there seem to be a lot of workers staying on the grounds which can get noisy early in the morning and late at night. This detracts from a peaceful camping experience. That being said, the campground has potential and the new owners are friendly and helpful. The restrooms and showers are very clean. The campground is surrounded by farmland and the campgrounds walking path is a great amenity, providing beautiful views of the surroundings. There may be limited cell service depending on your provider, but the owners mentioned that this issue was being addressed. Overall, Fireside Campground has great potential and is worthy of a visit.

Fireside Campground is located in the beautiful Central Wisconsin River Region and known as the Driftless Area, 45 miles west of Madison WI, or 10 miles east of Richland Center, right off of highway 14. Fireside Campground offers 20/30/50 amp water and electric as well as full hook up sites. We have pull through and back in sites. Fireside Campground is BIG RIG FRIENDLY. 50 water and electric sites, 45 Full Hook up sites. Most of the 50 water and electric sites are pull through and range from 40-80 feet long. Our full hook up sites offer new 20/30/50 amp sites with a limited number being pull through, most are back in sites. We offer free internet throughout the park. We are a dog friendly and motorcycle friendly campground. We offer dog waste stations throughout the park. We also offer laundry facilities. For many years, Fireside Campground has been the favorite destination for campers and outdoor enthusiasts from all over Wisconsin and beyond. We offer access to both modern conveniences as well as a more private, rustic experience for those who prefer tenting. Fireside Campground is comprised of 50 acres, most of the campground is situated on 25 acres. We offer a walking path that travels through the heavily wooded 10 acres to the west and then around the whole campground. We have dog waste stations located throughout the campground and at the entrance to the trail and ask that dogs be kept on a leash at all times and that you pick up after your dog.
