The seasonal sites have blacktopped roads, and there is a public road with a public access to the Wisconsin River that splits the campground. The campground is noisy and busy with many motorized vehicles. It is important to be cautious as the traffic can get heavy and not always watch out for campers. The entire park looks cluttered, tired, and many of the trees and bushes are overgrown. The park is full of annuals who are noisy and drunk on the weekends, and it could get smoky on weekends because of cigarettes, cigars, and marijuana. However, the weekdays are pretty quiet. The feeling from the office staff is that they dont care if campers enjoyed their stay or not. The park needs a clean-up and makeover to appeal to campers who are looking for a nice experience while camping. This might be an okay place for an overnight stay during the week if youre not in a big rig, but its not recommended to stay on weekends unless you enjoy a noisy, rowdy party scene.

From The Campground

River Bay Premier Camping Resort is located on the Upper Dells of the Wisconsin River and offers premier access to all river activities. The resort offers a wide variety of campsites, cabins, rental units, and seasonal sites. On-site amenities include a Tiki Bar, game room, playgrounds, heated swimming pool, and basketball court. Fun rentals on-site include golf carts, pontoon boats, pedal carts, and row boats. The Bayside Bar & Grill is located right on the river and offers drinks, food, and entertainment. The resort is very close to the Wisconsin Dells but not too close.
