What others are saying about this campground
Babcock County Park Campground is a great spot for a last minute stay near Madison, Wisconsin. It is located right off the highway and has easy access to restaurants, gas, laundry and other amenities. The park offers electric hookups, a central water filling station, and a dump station. There is a small playground and walking path, as well as a fishing pier and boat launch. The sites are a bit close together, but they are grassy and tree-covered, making them cool in the summer. The campground is close to the road, so there is some road noise, but it is less noticeable at night. There is also a lot of goose poop around, so watch out for that!
