Wilderness is a family-friendly campground located in Montello, Wisconsin. The grounds are well-maintained and have plenty of sunny and shaded sites, with each site including 30 amp electric and water hookups. There are also several dump stations conveniently located throughout the campground. For entertainment, Wilderness offers a heated pool, two swim ponds with floatables, a jumping pillow, playground, and great organized activities. There is also a miniature golf course, a Friday Night Fish Fry, and a fireworks show. Amish stores and a bakery are also close by. Restrooms and showers are available for 25 cents and are kept clean, though the partition walls could use brighter paint. Unfortunately, there is no WiFi or cell reception, so those looking for an urgent care or hospital will need to drive out of the campground to get service.

The amenities include a pool, lake, giant jumping pillow, playground, basketball court, paddle boats, canoes, showers, and water slides. The campground offers daily activities for both kids and adults. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Wilderness Campground is a great place to get away and enjoy the outdoors with family and friends.
