This campground is located on a beautiful lake, providing great access for lake-related activities. It offers a boat rental, and hosts events such as rummage/bake sales, karaoke, BINGO, and a Disc Jockey on holiday weekends. There is a beach when the river level is not overly high, but no pool. The campground is mostly full of long-term campers with trailers in various states of repair and disrepair, and the roads are very narrow, with decorations on the corners that make turning a little rough. The campground is in need of maintenance, and the wifi is adequate for checking email but slow for surfing. The staff is not very friendly, and the owner and his son patrol the campground all night to ensure safety. The rate is higher than expected for the type of stay, but is reasonable considering the lake access.
