This campground is a great spot for families and kids looking for a fun and exciting outdoor experience. Located just 10 miles north of the city of Green Bay, it is a great stopover on the way to Door County. The campground is well maintained and offers plenty of clean shower and bathroom facilities, a nice laundry, and electric and water hookups. It is heavily wooded with large paved sites and patios, as well as a great playground, picnic area, and boat access to the waters of Green Bay. There are also plenty of hiking trails and a small, rocky beach. It is a cash only campground and there is no CG Host. The campground is 50% first come, first served and can get quite busy on the weekends. Bigger rigs may have difficulty navigating the roads and sites due to the trees, but there are a few spots that can accommodate them. The campground also offers a great view of lightning storms over the lake.

The campground offers a variety of camping options including walk-in tent sites, group camps, horse-friendly sites, water/electric sites, full hookups, and sites with no hookups. The campground is equipped with amenities such as showers, restroom facilities, RV dump station, and access to bike and horse trails. Visitors can also enjoy the nearby NEW Zoo & Adventure Park, which is just a short walk away. The campground requires online reservations only, which can be made day-of and up to 364 days in advance.
