Kalbus Country is a great campground for those looking to take a break from city life and enjoy the great outdoors. The campground is located close to surrounding cities and offers lots of open space for kids to play and explore. The beach has a beautiful lake view with lots of lake shells and birds to see. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and the campground is pet friendly. There are both full hookup and water/electric sites available, although the full hookup sites are located in the south section of the campground. The lake flies can be bothersome, but the power is reliable and the water is OK. There is a boat ramp and docking available, and access to the reefs along the west side of Lake Winnebago south of Oshkosh. The beach is a bit small, but it is a great spot for a weekend getaway.
