From The Campground

Dexter County Park & Campground is the largest county park in Wood County, Wisconsin, with over 1,000 acres of wild, undeveloped land surrounding the nearly 300-acre Lake Dexter. The park features 109 individual campsites, three group camping sites, an enclosed shelter, playground, beach, sand volleyball courts, accessible fishing dock areas, hiking trails, and much more. There are two boat launches on Lake Dexter, and the park offers many opportunities for shore fishing and wildlife viewing. Only the upper portion of Lake Dexter/Yellow River is 'NO-WAKE.'
