The campground has a fair number of seasonal sites, but theres still plenty of space for transient campers. The managers are friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms are spotless. The utility hookups are in a proper location for motorhomes, and there is a dump station available, but no sewer at the site. Although the interior roads are gravel and a little tight, they are manageable. The sites are good-sized, but the rolling hills can make leveling a bit of a challenge. The campground does not offer cable TV, but it is close enough to Madison to get broadcast stations. Wi-Fi is available for a fee, and Verizon cell service may be spotty. Overall, Badgerland Campground is a good choice for a peaceful and comfortable camping experience.
