From The Campground

Sevenmile Lake Recreation Area is a beautiful campground located in Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The campground offers a boat ramp and a scenic two-mile hiking trail around the lake. Visitors can enjoy fishing for walleye, largemouth and smallmouth bass, rock bass, perch, pumpkinseed and bluegill in the lake. The Sevenmile Trail connects the campground to the larger Hidden Lakes Trail systems, providing an enjoyable loop trail that winds around a bog and along a ridge providing a vista of two lakes. The campground also offers a picnic area by the beach on a hot summer day. Non-motorized water activities such as canoeing, kayaking, and paddling are also popular at Sevenmile Lake.
