From The Campground

Evergreen Park & Campground is located on the northeast edge of the Village limits (North Avenue), offering 40 sites to choose from, including deluxe full hook-up, deluxe full hook-up/pull through, or cozy wooded rustic sites with electric. The campground features fire pits at all campsites, a pavilion with a full kitchen, brand new bathroom and coin-operated shower facilities, picnic tables and benches, 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, a playground including swings, sandbox, and merry-go-round, washroom/toilets at pump station, RV sewage pump station and potable water filling station, hiking trails with several bridges crossing the Wausaukee River, Wausaukee River fishing (a class 2 trout stream), and access to the Evergreen Park Pond. The brand new kitchen addition to the pavilion includes a large commercial-style refrigerator, stainless steel sink and lots of counter space, stove and lots of plug-ins, and a garage door that opens up to a serving table. All campers will have access to the brand new ADA accessible bathrooms and coin-operated shower facilities. Steve Stumbris Memorial Park is only a short walk away from the campground, offering a giant playground, 2 baseball fields, and a pavilion for rent. The park is closed to non-campers at 10:00 PM. ATV’s are not allowed in the park, and firewood is sold at Mini-Marts in the Village of Wausaukee (clean firewood only, no pallets allowed). Please pick up and dispose of trash properly to keep the woods and trails clean. Please report any vandalism, theft, or damage to campground equipment and facilities to Crime Stoppers (800) 427-5857 or the Village Hall (715) 856-5341.
