He said, No, Im not new to the area, I just dont know of any other parks! Vet’s Park is a family-friendly campground located on the banks of the La Crosse River, directly on the State Bike Trail and easily accessible from I-90. It offers a variety of activities, such as fishing, kayaking, hiking, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and volleyball. The campground features a camp store, hot showers, restrooms with flush toilets, river access, fire pits, picnic tables, and tent pads at each campsite. There are also several group shelters, baseball fields, playgrounds, and plenty of space for activities. The campground is usually busy on weekends due to group events, and the atmosphere is peaceful and friendly. The campground does not take reservations and is on a first-come basis. Cash or check only is accepted. The campground is close to stores and a small town, and is a great location for taking in the LaCrosse area.
