Scenic Ridge Campground is a family owned park located within walking distance of a lake with a boat ramp, kayaking, and water inflatables. It is primarily composed of seasonal spots, but there are shorter term sites at the top of the hill in the back of the park. The check-in service is quick and accommodating, and there is a nice general store with a small restaurant for take out. Unfortunately, the portable toilets by the playground have not been emptied or cleaned for months. The roads are gravel and the golf cart and vehicle traffic often speeds past the sites, endangering guests and creating dust clouds. The pull-through sites are long and can handle a unit and additional vehicle, and the owners are very responsive via cell phone. There are activities, a small sand beach, and a playground for families. The dump station is hard to get to, and there are only two shower houses at the top of the ridge and at the bottom at the office. Weekdays are nice and peaceful, but weekends can be a zoo with massive tent groups and barking dogs.

Scenic Ridge Campground is a family-friendly campground that offers a variety of spacious, grassy or wooded camping sites to accommodate tents and any size RV. They also have cozy pond-side cottages and on-site RV rentals available. The campground features a well-stocked general store with a full menu snack shack, boat launch, laundry facilities, restrooms with free showers, and a free WIFI hotspot located at the camp store. Guests can enjoy a sandy swimming beach with inflatable water toys, boating, fishing, water skiing, playground, and hiking trails with scenic overviews. Scenic Ridge Campground is located near numerous nearby attractions, from state hiking and biking trails to small town shops and dining.
