This campground is located 26 miles west of Wisconsin Dells and is a great option for those looking for a peaceful camping experience. The campsites are mostly level and transient sites are easy to access. The pull-thrus are in-line to the road and feature large yards with beautiful views of the woods and hills. The new section is an open field of multiple rows of large long sites, flat with good side room. There is also a play pond with blow up toys across the road. The grounds are immaculate and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The campground also includes a lake and a long hiking trail which ends at a 40 acre refuge for birds. The views from the hilltop sites are some of the most beautiful in the area. Be sure to be careful when checking in at the office as there are some large dips in the parking lot. There are also no mosquitoes or stinging insects, making it a great choice for those who dont want to deal with pesky bugs.
