The sites are spread out, so neighboring sites are nearby but not close. In the summer, the lake is probably bustling with activities while the loud hum of boats and jet skis fills the air, but in the Fall, it was peaceful and quiet. Gowdy is a gem, and it is up to you to make it fit your adventure because the opportunities are boundless.
