GenieSummary

This campground is located in the Shoshone National Forest, providing spectacular views and easy access to attractions in the area. With primitive camping and picnic tables at each campsite, the campground is very private and outside of grizzly country, allowing for tent camping. The sites are spread out nicely with nature in between each one, and the sound of the river can be heard all day and night. The vault toilets are very clean and well maintained, and there is a pit toilet which can be odiferous. A nice camp host is available to answer any questions about the area. The sites are heavily wooded towards the front of the campground and more open to the river towards the back, providing beautiful views of the mountains. Fishing is also available with miles of shoreline accessible from the campground. The price point is very reasonable at only $10, and both hard sided RVs and tents are welcome. Bear boxes are mandatory, and there is a nice introduction to bears at the pay kiosk. Cellular signal is available on AT&T, although it is limited. High grass is around the campsites.
