The sites have electric and water hookups, but no sewer. There is a dump station at the nearby Buffalo Bill State Park. We really enjoyed our stay at Rex Hale and would definitely come back.

From The Campground
Rex Hale Campground is located in Shoshone National Forest and offers 30 open and spacious sites along the North Fork of the Shoshone River. The campground is named after a firefighter who died in the 1937 Blackwater Fire. Nearby attractions include Mummy Cave and Blackwater Trail. The campground is accessible to persons with mobility impairments and has a 16-day stay limit. Potable water and vault toilets are available, but there is no cell service. Reservations can be made online at www.recreation.gov.
