What others are saying about this campground
The campground is a great spot to stay and explore the area. Its about 1/2 way between Cody, Wyoming and the east gate to Yellowstone and it will take you approximately 30 minutes to reach either. There are 20 sites with electricity and picnic tables, fire pits, and bear boxes at each site. The campground is close to the North Fork of the Shoshone River, making it a great spot for fishing. There are also berry bushes in late August, so visitors should be aware of the presence of bears. The campground is an easy hour drive to Yellowstone and 30 minutes to Cody, Wyoming, where you can find restaurants, shops, and Billy Codys former hunting lodge.
