Dead Swede Campground is located in Bighorn National Forest and is named after the gentleman whose grave is located there. The campground is situated east of U.S. Highway 14, the Bighorn Scenic Byway, and is close to the South Tongue River, making it a popular area for anglers. The campground has 21 single sites, 6 accessible sites, and 15 sites with accessible furnishings. Potable water and vault toilets are available. The campground is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day and has a 14-day stay limit. Reservations can be made online or by phone.
