What others are saying about this campground
The sites were gravel with lots of trees for shade. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. We were in the no hook up section of the camp, but there was one spot that had sun and had the opportunity to use our solar panels. The camp was very quiet and the camp host delivered firewood to the site. There was a fair amount of traffic going back to the lake access, but the campground was closed for the season. The vault toilets were clean and stocked, but there was no trash pick up. There were lots of trails to hike and it was great for dogs. The lake was great for paddling canoes and kayaks and the kids caught a ton of fish from the fishing docks. The campground was at higher elevations so in the summer it was perfect to beat the heat. The campground is a great place to enjoy the solitude of not having cell service while exploring the trails, fishing, and paddling around the lake.
