GenieSummary

The hosts were wonderful and the campground was well kept. The only drawback is that there is no dump station on site, but there is one 10 miles down the road in Hulett for $10. Devils Tower Campground is a first come, first served self pay campground located within Devils Tower National Monument. It is a dry camping site, with no hookups, but the campground offers a bathroom with flush toilets and a sink room. The campground is shaded by huge cottonwood trees, and is surrounded by fields of grass pasture and the Belle Forche River. The sites are fairly level gravel pull thrus with picnic tables on concrete pads, firepits with grates, and are generally spacious and level. There are lots of trails to hike, and the night-skies provide excellent views of the Milky Way. The campground is steps away from the visitors center and the Prairie Dog Village, and the hosts are wonderful. The only drawback is that there is no dump station on site, but there is one 10 miles down the road in Hulett for $10.
