Solitude is a basic campground located in Dubois, Wyoming, with no bath house or toilet facilities. It is situated on the side of a mountain set at different levels and offers 60 acres of hiking, biking, ATV, and off road accessible trails with stunning views of the mesas and surrounding mountains. The camp host, Eric, is most welcoming and helpful and is also the town Sheriff. He provides firewood for your site and trash pickup every morning. The campground is very spacious with wide gravel roads and all sites are back-in, but plenty of space to navigate. It is walkable to downtown (about 1.5 miles) and there is a fishing and great walking path right across the street. The small town is historic and nice to walk around and the stars at night are beautiful. The park has excellent WiFi, but the video calls are occasionally spotty. It is also very windy most of the day, so be careful leaving your awning out. The sites are very large and the park manager is very responsive, friendly and helpful. The nearby grocery is a bit pricey and the produce isnt that great, but it is good for the necessities. The park offers a discounted rate when scheduling over the phone vs online. It is the perfect place for relaxation after a day of sightseeing and offers direct access to public lands for outdoor activities.

Solitude RV Park is located in Dubois, Wyoming and is a great base camp for tours to Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Parks, and all of the great back country beauty of the Wyoming Wilderness. The campground lives up to its name, offering big sites with privacy and huge views. Amenities include a photo gallery, and policies, prices and rules are available on the website.
