While there is some train noise, it is not a major disturbance. Verizon wireless signal is good enough for internet use through a personal hotspot. Most of the sites are back-to-back, so some campers might find them too small or too close. They had two port-a-potties behind the main building but no bathhouses. The park is conveniently located close to Fossil Butte National Monument, a must-visit for many. Overall, it is a suitable overnight spot for campers, but it may not be ideal for longer stay.
