Mountain Range RV Park is a nice and clean campground located just South of the city of Lander. It is far enough off the US highway that it is very quiet, and the stars shine brightly at night. The campground is very open and level, with wide gravel sites and full hookups. Each site also has a picnic table and flower planters for added privacy. The accompanying town is small but there is a Safeway with a fueling center nearby. The campground is close to Sinks Canyon State Park, the Painted Desert, and Valley of the Warm Winds. The view of the nearby golf course and mountains to the west is spectacular. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the WiFi works well. There is a laundry room with one washer and dryer, and a mechanic shop next to the grounds that occasionally makes some noise. This is a great place to stop along your travels, and the new owners are investing time and money to make improvements.
