This campground is located just off the highway, behind buildings and unmarked from the street. It is a single strip of 26 unlevel, gravel, back-in sites along a fence, with a few concrete pads for 6-8 RVs, depending on how closely you park. There are also multiple parallel dry camping spots on paved parking lots. The campground has water, electric hook-up (30 amp or 4-50 amp slots on the north end), and some sewer connections. Iron Ranger is used for fee collection. The campground has no amenities such as Wi-Fi, fire rings, picnic tables, etc. There is a decent amount of grassy mowed spaces for exercising your dog on leash. The campground is surrounded by horse hockey, giving the area a certain aroma, and there is a lot of highway noise and train tracks both east and west of the park. The rate is $30/night for hook ups. The wind blows in the evening, cooling the air, and Verizon hot spot reception is good. It is a perfect place to pull off the freeway and get some rest before continuing, but the $30 fee may be too much for a pad in the dirt with 30 amp power.

Albany County Fairgrounds is a campground located in Laramie, Wyoming. It offers camper space rentals and overnight boarding. The campground is conveniently located near the shooting range and The Range Arena. Summer Market Days and winter storage are also available. Contact the Fairgrounds Office for more information.
