What others are saying about this campground
All sites have picnic tables and fire pits. Some sites have shade shelters and wind fences. The views of the red cliffs and mountains are stunning. There are no trees for shade, so it can get hot in the summer. There are no showers, but there are flush toilets and a dump station. The campground is a short drive from the boat launch and a few miles from town and the wild mustang area. The campground is open year round, but water and electric are turned off from September 30 to May 1. There is no cell service, but you can pick up enough bars for Verizon about 5-10 minutes away. The campground is first come, first serve and you pay by depositing the fee in an envelope and clipping a piece to your site. The campground host is friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay and explore the area.
