This campground is located in Wyoming and is situated on a man-made lake with beautiful views. It is conveniently located off I-90 and is close to Pine Haven for groceries and gas. The campground is well maintained, but the campsite can be littered with cigarette butts and dog hair. It is a popular destination for families, boats, kids, and ATVs. There are 9 campgrounds, 4 fee gates, and a dump station at the entrance. The roads are all gravel and very dusty. There are pit toilets throughout the CG, and a new shower/bath house a short walk away (pay showers). There are concrete picnic tables in good shape with fire pits and ample sites. The grass in the campground is pretty long, the pine pollen is thick and cloying, and the mosquitoes are fairly intense. Depending on your location and wind direction, you may get to enjoy the stench from the pit toilets. There is an excellent paved trail to the marina, playground area, small store, motel, several launch areas and plenty of space to enjoy this gem. Generators are allowed and there is a fixed dump site and great R/O water. This is a great campground for those looking to explore Devils Tower, as it is only 20 miles away.
