What others are saying about this campground
Colter Bay Campground in Moran, WY is a great location for campers who want to be close to the lake and enjoy the beautiful national park scenery. Some sites at this campground are known for being narrow and not having enough space for chairs. However, the majority of campers tend to spend their days in the park instead of sitting outside. On the plus side, the campground is fully equipped with a grocery store, gas station, and ranger station that are all within walking distance. Although the electric and water services may go on and off, the staff makes an effort to resolve any problems. The sites here are slightly close together compared to other national parks, but there is still plenty of room. The park is perfect for outdoor-oriented individuals interested in exploring the area, and its a great place to access Jackson Hole. If youre travelling with a large rig, be aware that the campground might be tricky to navigate. While the prices are relatively high, this is a beautiful location that is worth visiting.
