This campground is located close to the Moran entrance of The Grand Tetons National Park in Buffalo Valley, Wyoming. It is a great location for visiting Grand Teton NP, with the Moran entry gate just a 10 minute drive away, and easy access to the south entrance of Yellowstone. The sites are gravel, mostly level, with a little bit of grass, picnic table and a fire pit. The campground is overpriced for the condition of the park and the amenities, and there is no trash pick up so you have to walk to the dumpster by the office when needed. There is a gas station and store onsite as well as a bar with package liquor sales. The pool is closed and weeds grow in it, the sites are on top of each other, ruts in the road, and water pressure goes to 20 psi or less if other campers are using it. The views of the Tetons are breathtaking, and there are elk feeding across the river and bears wandering by the dam in the evening. The bath house nearest our site had a sliding barn door entrance that couldnt be opened or closed from the inside. The owner and staff are friendly and accommodating, but the showers and baths need to be completely renovated, the pool, spa and play grounds repaired and opened for the price that is charged. There is no fenced dog park, but plenty of places to leash walk with bags and disposal pots provided.
