From The Campground
New Fork Lake Campground is a primitive campground located on the shore of New Fork Lake in Bridger-Teton National Forest. The campground is surrounded by a grove of aspens and has a great day use beach adjacent to it, with a sandy beach providing fun for the whole family. The 1,070-acre New Fork Lake offers great boating, canoeing, and swimming. Anglers fish for kokanee salmon and brook, lake and rainbow trout. The campground is accessible by passenger car and offers wade, shore, motorized boat, float tube, fly, spin, bait, and ice fishing. The boat ramp is located a mile and a half from the campground, at the lake's northwestern shore. The access road is not paved, drinking water is not available, and proper food storage is required. The single unit sites are first come, first serve, and the fee is $12 per night. The closest town is Pinedale, Wyoming, which is approximately 24 miles away. The campground is operated by the Forest Service.
