Saratoga Lake Campground in Saratoga, WY, offers a great location on the edge of Saratoga with good views of the lake. The campground is managed by the city of Saratoga, and there is no one on-site. Visitors can pay on arrival by filling out a form attached to the backside of the bathroom. Each site has a picnic table and electricity is the only service provided. It has two tiers that are gravely and offer a remote camping feel. The second tier does not have great views due to some shrubby foliage. The boat launch is located here, and private homes are across the lake. There are two marked handicap accessible sites, and the place is relatively clean with no smell. While there are no sewer hook-ups, a dump station is available across the road for $5, and potable water is not available in the campground. The water is not drinkable but can be filled up at a gas station in town. Its a pretty great site for those with a boat or looking for water access. Mosquitos can be unbearable at sundown, and it gets a bit windy. There is a playground for kids, but there is no privacy. The place has great value for the price paid, and the view remains excellent.

From The Campground

Saratoga Lake Campground & RV Park offers camping on a first come, first serve basis with no reservations being taken. There are 25 sites with electrical hookups and 25 additional non-electrical campsites for regular camping or tent camping. The campground features fishing, boat dock, sandy beach area, and playground. There are 4 restroom facilities throughout the area, and it is patrolled daily by the Saratoga Police Station. Located one mile north of Saratoga on highway 130/230.
