This campground is located in the heart of downtown and is conveniently located near a health food store, brewery, and Hot Springs State Park. It offers full hookups at a reasonable price, and the check-in process is easy. There is a laundromat less than a block away, and the Wi-Fi is very good. The sites are close together, and the bathrooms are a little dated but clean. The staff is very helpful and responsive. There is a nice table and grill, and the spots have shade but are tight. There is a lot of highway and truck noise, but it dies down at night. The park is across the street from an access point to the river, making evening walks great. The spots are small and tight, but they are pull-throughs and have a picnic table, barbecue, and grassy area. There is green grass between each site and flowers everywhere, making it a lovely spot. There is a cash discount for not paying the city lodging fee. The owner is amazing and accommodating, and the diesel fumes can be a bit much. The Black Bear Cafe is a great breakfast spot, and the Star Plunge is an awesome facility with great hot springs and slides. Teepee hot springs should be avoided, as the slides are very rough. The owner runs the sprinklers without notice, but the great grass is worth it.
