Friend Park Campground is located at the base of Laramie Peak in the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests & Thunder Basin National Grassland. The campground has 11 campsites, three of which are walk-in/tent-only. Motorized users can access the nearby Laramie Peak Trailhead, while non-motorized users can access both the Laramie Peak Trail and Friend Park Trail. Fishing is available in the adjacent Friend Creek and surrounding beaver ponds. Amenities include picnic tables, toilets, and drinking water. The campground is open from June to October and is first-come, first-served. The fee is $10 per night for camping and $5 per vehicle for day use. Wyoming State OHV stickers are required for driving any Forest Service OHV trails. No horses are allowed in the campground.
