This RV Park is the perfect spot for a quick overnight stay on your travels. Located just off I-25 in Wheatland, Wyoming, it offers pull-through parking with no trees and wide dirt sites that can accommodate your tow vehicle. The bathrooms and showers are clean and well-maintained, and there is a laundry facility right across the street. The sites are unlevel in both directions and have a concrete patio and picnic table, although the paint is flaking. The hookups are all at the back, and you may need extra long hoses and electrical extensions to reach them. The water faucets may leak, and the sewer hookups are almost under your rig. There is a steel plate covering the sewer connection that is visible. The curb is a bit steep when you exit the site, but that is a city issue, not the parks fault. There is an empty field next door and a walking path at the rear of the park. The camp hosts are friendly and helpful, and the office staff is accommodating. The price is inexpensive, making it a great place to stay for an overnight stay or even a month. Be aware that there may be a lot of ants around, and the exit curb is steep, so take it slow.

Mountain View RV Park is a year-round campground located less than a mile from downtown Wheatland, Wyoming. The park offers full hookups with water, sewer, and electric, as well as wireless internet access, coin-op laundry and shower facilities, large pull-thru sites, restrooms, and picnic tables. The campground is just off I-25, making it a convenient stop for travelers. The Platte County Chamber of Commerce provides links to nearby attractions such as Glendo State Park and Guernsey.
