The lake was nice and clean, the beach was ok. We had a great time and would recommend this campground to anyone. This campground is a great spot for a getaway, located on Smith Lake with a beautiful view. It has a variety of amenities, including a bathhouse, laundry room, club house, playground, and nature bridge. The sites are large and the bathrooms are clean. Cell service is spotty, but there is free wifi at the clubhouse and campground-wide wifi for a fee. There is a boat launch, dock, and waterfall, as well as a mini golf course, basketball court, and disc golf. Nearby cities such as Jasper and Cullman offer attractions such as the Ave Maria Grotto and the US Space and Rocket Museum. The campground is also close to the Bankhead National Forest, where you can go hiking. This is a great spot for families, with plenty of activities for kids and adults alike.
