Northgate RV Travel Park in Athens, AL is a no-frills RV park with full hookups, good 50amp power, and good sewer and water pressure. All of the sites are level on gravel and feature long pull-thrus which are easy to navigate, making it great for big rigs. They only accept cash or check, with the price for a nightly stay at $40. There are no bathhouses, but the restrooms are very clean, and the game room is a nice addition. Although theres no chitchat upon check-in, the owner is all business. Plus, its a nice, quiet, private, and peaceful stop-over on the road, surrounded by fields with cows and chickens. While the exit ramp can be a little tricky to navigate, its easy on and off of I-65. The city of Athens is conveniently nearby, with a wide selection of big box stores and restaurants, and Bucees is constructing a location in the area.

Northgate RV Travel Park is an overnight or short-term park located in North Alabama, just south of the Tennessee line. The park offers all pull-thru/full hook-up sites with 30 & 50 amp service at every site, 4-inch self-closing sewer connections, frost-free water hydrants with great pressure, and free WiFi. The park is situated in a farm setting and has friendly faces. However, there are no bathhouses available. The overnight rate is $45.00 (all taxes and costs included), and the park does not offer monthly or weekly rates. The check-in time is 12:00 P.M. (central time), and the check-out time is 11:00 A.M. (central time).
