Desoto Caverns campground is a great place for a peaceful getaway. With only a few other campers, the park offers a quiet and secluded atmosphere. The family owned theme park attached provides a great way to spend a holiday, and the caverns are beautiful and full of holiday decorations. The campsite offers full hook-ups, 20amp service, and a pavilion for your use. A little stream is available for the kids to play in, and there is a single washer and dryer set up in the community area kitchen. Unfortunately, many of the attractions are overpriced and need maintenance. There is no cell service for Verizon and no grill or fire pit at the campsite. Bring earplugs and have a fan if you sleep past 8am, as 150 kids can be quite loud. The wild house cats roaming around the campground can keep your dog alert.

From The Campground

Formerly DeSoto Caverns, Majestic Caverns offers guided cavern tours, live entertainment, unique attractions, and award-winning fudge. The park is open to the public Friday through Monday and for Spring Break (March 20 - April 7) Thursday - Monday. Groups may book times outside of operating hours by calling and booking in advance. The campground is available for overnight stays and the gift shop offers souvenirs and tickets.
