What others are saying about this campground
This campground is located next to Alabama Public boat launch and is a great spot for a few days of rest. It is a county park with no entrance fee and features a pool, water slide, and putt putt golf for an additional fee. The sites are gravel and include a fire ring and picnic table, though they can be unlevel and cramped. There is no wifi or cable, but there are a few weak over the air TV channels. The bathhouse is not up to date and the campground is not well-maintained, with pine cones and tree limbs scattered on the sites. However, the people are very friendly and there is plenty of room for the children to run around and play. The main entrance is blocked off and you must enter near the marina, so large campers should take the main road into the park. There is a small store on site for ice and other necessities. Military/veteran discount is available.
