However, the bathrooms are full of spiderwebs, ants, and black mold, and the beach area has a large amount of garbage and pet waste. Dogs are allowed within the park but only if you are camping in a camper or RV. There isnt much to do unless you have a boat, so you would be better off finding a different place to spend your time. Despite the disrepair, this campground is a great place for DoD employees and their guests to stay. The sites have private docks to the lake, making it a fishermans paradise. The roads are in need of major repairs, and the sites are gravel and not level at all. Boats and trailers stored and or parked here look like they are abandoned. With some TLC, this campground could be an outstanding park again.
