Point Mallard is a city-run campground in a recreational complex near a river. It offers lots of activities such as a golf course, bike trails, an olympic-sized pool, water park, batting cages, soccer and little league fields, and tennis courts. Visitors can pick their own site, but reservations are not available during peak camping seasons and the office staff can be unfriendly. The roads are well paved and easy to navigate, and the campground is generally well maintained, although the restrooms and showers are outdated. All in all, it is a great family-friendly atmosphere.

Point Mallard Campground is a year-round campground located on 25 wooded acres. The campground features 217 shaded campsites with water, sewer, and electricity, as well as 6 tent sites. Amenities include a laundry facility, dump station, grocery store, three covered pavilions with restrooms and showers, an enclosed meeting facility, kids playground, and grills. The campground is within walking distance to the Golf Course, soccer fields, tennis courts, and the Water Park. Short-term stay sites are available in section A, with a 2-week maximum stay, while extended stay sites are available in sections B, C, and D, with a maximum stay of 179 days. Point Mallard Park collects an additional 10% city and 5% state lodging tax on campground sites for individuals staying less than 90 days. Reviews are not available.
