This campground is a great place for a getaway. It features gravel sites with a nice concrete landing in front of the camper for added convenience. The sites are level and well drained, even after heavy rains. The power connections are low to the ground, making it difficult to keep your Surge Supressor/EMS out of the water. There is a nice size concrete pad centrally located for the picnic table, chairs, etc. The Barn is a large event center with live music provided on weekends. Unfortunately, it can be noisy past campground quiet hours, so it is best to choose a campsite away from it. The only real cons are that the grass gets very soggy when it rains and the road through the park has quite a few holes making it bumpy to drive on. The campground is about 10 miles outside of Andalusia, which has grocery stores, restaurants, Wal-Mart and anything you might need. The roads are very dusty and when other campers or drivers pass by, a cloud of dust follows. The campground also offers decent rates which include electric, water, sewer, cable, and very spotty WiFi. The manager, Big Daddy, is very welcoming and hospitable. There is also a large covered area for weddings, gatherings, etc. being added. The lakefront is a work in progress with two large docks in. Overall, this campground is a great place to stay, with a generous host team that goes out of their way to help campers in need.

Cypress Landing RV Park is a family-friendly, locally-owned RV park nestled along the scenic shores of Gantt Lake in South Alabama. This picturesque lake spans approximately 2,700 acres with 21 miles of inviting shoreline, offering opportunities for skiing, swimming, jet-skiing, and boating. Anglers will appreciate catching shell crackers, bream, and bass, while the winter season brings excellent duck hunting experiences on the lake. Our park, established in April 2015, boasts 63 well-equipped campsites, 2 cozy cabins, and a convenient general store. In 2015, we completely renovated our boat docks and also completed a boat ramp. We also introduced tent sites in the spring of 2016, with plans to add waterfront RV sites in the future. Upon arrival, our friendly staff and on-site manager warmly welcome you and your furry friends to the area! Gantt Lake's renowned fishing, hunting, boating, and various water sports draw families and outdoor enthusiasts year-round, both for short getaways and extended stays. Escape the crowds, yet stay conveniently close to town and the Gulf Coast's many attractions. Cypress Landing RV Park is situated on Hwy 29, approximately 12 miles from Andalusia, making it an ideal base to explore nearby treasures like Frank Jackson State Park and the beautiful Conecuh National Forest.
