This campground is an older, quiet park located off I-65 between Mobile and Montgomery, AL. It is 1.3 miles off the highway down a dirt road and is surrounded by red clay. The sites are level and gravel, and the park offers a power pedestal, sewer hookup, and a water faucet. The park has a clubhouse with a large deck overlooking the pond, and a 2 acre bass pond that needs to be fished. There is no wifi or cable TV, but satellite is available. The park is a great place to stay for a night or two while passing through, and the Passport America rate is accepted. There is no picnic table or patio, and the roads are hard packed red clay with many ruts from water erosion. There is no on-site food option, but there is a gas station by the exit.

Owassa Lakeside RV Park is a Big Rig Friendly campground located in Evergreen, Alabama. The park offers 32 total RV sites, including 27 pull-thrus and 5 back-ins with full hookups, and can accommodate any size RV. The park provides 30/50 amp service, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, a clubhouse, gravel pads, and access to a 4-acre lake. Pets are welcome, but must be leashed and clean up is required. Passport America members pay $18.00 per night, while regular rates are $36.00 per night. The PA discount is valid for two nights. Please call ahead for site availability during November, December, and January. Cash or personal check only.
