This campground is a great retreat for those looking for a basic, no frills camping experience. It is located close to the beach and to Foley, which has restaurants and big box stores. The two large ponds are stocked with bass and make for a great fishing spot. The sites are wide and provide plenty of room. There is only one shower in each bathroom, but they have good water pressure and privacy. The owners are friendly and live on site. However, the campground is located next to a cement plant that runs seven days a week, and there is no noise ordinance, so it can be quite noisy. Despite this, it is a great place to stay at a decent price.

The park also features a stocked lake, bath house, laundry facilities, and an on-site manager. It is the best deal on the Gulf Coast.
